What makes BVH different?

We want to help you have more good years together with your pets. In keeping with that objective, Dr. Romano wanted to give the citizens of Carteret County and the surrounding areas a different business model to meet the needs of today's hectic schedules. By being open in the afternoons and evenings with Dr. Romano in-house from 3pm to 10pm, those who need to work all day can do their regular vet care without taking time off work. We also know that many urgencies occur in the evening when you get home from work and your pet just isn't acting right. We offer the ability to do everything from routine vaccinations, wellness exams, grooming, spays, neuters, and dental exams, all the way up to some emergency surgeries all at one practice. Dr. Romano feels strongly about caring for and fixing feral cat populations along the Crystal Coast and has relationships with many of the fine Trap-Neuter-Release and other rescue groups in the area.

We do everything we can to keep our fees as low as possible and we are confident the we offer amongst the best values for your pet's health care. To help keep our fees low, payment is expected at the time of service, whether that is a vaccination, a yearly exam, or an emergency. Because we know that unexpected emergencies can be a financial hardship for many families, we do accept 6-month CareCredit financing. You can apply online in a few minutes at home or at BVH to see if you qualify for financing. We strive to provide accurate estimates for all procedures to minimize surprises and generally require 50% of the estimate as down payment before major procedures and surgeries.
